All LINDEMANN machines are designed to meet the quality standards required for steel processing in harmony with the green steel cycle. From scrap material preparation, separation, and sorting, to proven emissions reduction and result analysis that evaluates the purity of the processed material, LINDEMANN is fully committed to the green steel cycle.

Rather than discarding components at the end of their first lifecycle, our machines restore them to a like-new condition. This "second life" conserves raw materials, while the process requires only a fraction of the energy needed to produce new components.

We are also working to reduce indirect emissions generated along our value chain by selecting suppliers who share our environmental goals.

History

MORE THAN 100 YEARS OF METAL RECYCLING SOLUTIONS

On October 1, 1913, at the age of 27, Waldemar Lindemann founded his namesake trading company in Düsseldorf. The idea came to him during an internship at an export company in Antwerp, where he was responsible for logistics. He realized that the transportation of goods such as cotton, sisal, or hemp became increasingly expensive the bulkier and more voluminous they were.
