The EtaCut II shear combines outstanding compaction power with precise cutting performance, enabling efficient processing of virtually all scrap grades. The EtaCut II product range represents a new generation of heavy-duty stationary scrap shears, delivering shearing forces from 1,000 to 1,600 tonnes. With press box lengths ranging from 8 to 10 metres, the machine is designed for high-volume scrap processing, handling everything from light scrap to dense, bulky and complex materials. Powerful compaction and precise cutting performance ensure efficient downstream processing and optimised material preparation.

The system combines a high-force press lid, a parallel-guided side compactor and a robust pusher to form dense scrap packages before cutting with guillotine blades. Optimised press lid kinematics concentrate maximum compaction force exactly where it is needed, while the overstroke function increases material density and reduces component wear. A vertically operating stamper provides additional stabilisation and compaction during the cutting process, ensuring consistent cut quality.

Heavy forged blade tables absorb extreme cutting forces and protect the machine structure from long-term stress, extending service life and reducing maintenance requirements.

Advanced electro-hydraulic drive systems operating at pressures of up to 400 bar ensure highly efficient power transmission with minimal energy losses. Combined with Siemens PLC control, automated operating programs and full connectivity through the myLINDEMANN platform, operators gain access to predictive maintenance, KPI monitoring and continuous performance optimisation. The result is higher throughput, improved machine availability and maximum efficiency in metal recycling operations.
