Intelligent
pre-shredding.
The LINDEMANN EtaRip is designed to stabilise and optimise the entire downstream shredding process. By efficiently opening pre-compressed car bodies, scrap bales and dense shredder scrap, the pre-shredder homogenises feedstock before it reaches the main shredder. This results in more consistent loading, improved process control and significantly reduced mechanical stress throughout the recycling plant.
Two slow-running counter-rotating rotors equipped with application-specific tearing teeth ensure controlled material breakdown. The intelligent flipper system actively supports material intake, maintaining consistent throughput and smooth material flow. The result is improved full-box shredding conditions, shorter processing times and enhanced performance throughout downstream separation and sorting processes.
By removing trapped dirt, glass and abrasive contaminants at an early stage, EtaRip reduces wear on hammers, rotors, grids and liners, extending wear part life while improving operational safety. High-torque hydraulic drives and robust bearing protection ensure reliable performance, even in demanding scrap processing environments.
