The ZM combines compact machine dimensions with powerful shredding technology. Featuring an inlet width of 150 cm and rotor diameters of 110 cm or 160 cm, it efficiently processes a wide range of scrap materials while requiring minimal installation space. This makes it particularly suitable for steel scrap, electronic scrap and other compact recycling materials.
Material is fed into the shredder via a conveyor system before being captured and processed by the high-speed rotor. Operating at 750 rpm, the rotor ensures intensive material reduction and consistent throughput performance. High-efficiency electric motors delivering up to 370 kW provide reliable power and energy-efficient operation.
Built from heavy-duty welded steel construction and protected by highly wear-resistant liners, the ZM is designed for long service life under demanding operating conditions. A hydraulically adjustable coarse material ejection door enables the quick removal of non-shreddable objects, helping maintain smooth operation and minimise downtime.
Maintenance requirements are kept low thanks to the machine’s tiltable housing, which provides easy access to the rotor and wear components. This simplifies servicing procedures and maximises machine availability.
