for heavy-duty turnings
The ZB turnings crusher range consists of high-performance hammer mills designed to efficiently process long, wavy, curly and bulky metal turnings into dense, uniform chips ready for downstream applications such as briquetting. The result is optimised scrap processing, improved material handling and increased value recovery.
At the heart of the machine is a high-speed rotor operating at 1,000 to 1,500 rpm and equipped with wear-resistant, freely oscillating tearing tools. Unlike blade-based systems, these tools can tolerate foreign objects such as screws, nuts and bolts, ensuring reliable operation in demanding metal recycling environments.
The heavy-duty two-part housing is manufactured from welded steel plate and protected by replaceable abrasion-resistant wear liners, providing long service life even under continuous heavy loads. Interchangeable grate systems allow precise control of output chip size, creating ideal conditions for efficient briquetting processes. An optional dosing comb helps untangle material and reduce current peaks during operation.
Optional integration with Siemens PLC control and the myLINDEMANN digital service platform provides remote monitoring, KPI tracking, predictive maintenance and detailed energy consumption analysis. This enables operators to maximise machine availability, throughput and overall process efficiency.
