Scene of the famous Battle of the Alamo, the southern Texan city of San Antonio recently saw another group of pioneers hunker down for a number of days – the Lindemann Americas team! With 22 employees attending from both North and South America, the event packed a lot into just 3 of days.

Despite being at the height of summer – with temperatures touching a searing 45 degrees Celsius, the team remained cool under pressure. Sensibly, they didn’t base themselves at the Alamo – but instead the Lindemann (air conditioned) Americas head office in the city. And they had a Lot of work to get through – including process improvement and service training workshops and Lindemann Shear onsite training. It wasn’t all work though, and the fun team building exercises helped boost morale.

Lindemann is growing fast in the Americas (three new employees have joined since this event was held). Getting closer to customers is our priority, and to do that there is no way better to develop a high performing, customer-service-driven organisation than bringing our teams together for learning, friendship building, face-to-face meetings.
