About four years ago, we delivered a new type of shredder housing to our Norwegian customer Norsk Gjenvinning Metal A/S as part of a plant upgrade. The shredder housing is equipped with a removable lower front wall in the middle section.

The removable lower front wall is proving to be extremely advantageous, as it enables safe and easy replacement of wear parts in a difficult-to-access area of the shredder housing. Changing heavy wear parts, especially when it has to be done overhead, is dangerous and requires the highest safety measures. Thanks to the removable lower front wall, this danger is completely eliminated.
