LINDEMANN extends cooperation with Bosch Rexroth
The bright red Hägglunds motors on the LINDEMANN EtaRip pre-shredder are not just visually appealing – they also represent state-of-the-art technology. Reason enough for LINDEMANN to extend its collaboration with Bosch Rexroth and equip the new generation of EtaRip with Hägglund’s rotary motors. But what exactly are Hägglunds?
“Radial piston motors enable a wear-free direct drive without gears,” says Krischan Wolters, Product Manager at LINDEMANN, “With the Hägglunds Quantum X-840 motors as the new main drive, the two versions of the LINDEMANN EtaRip 210 and EtaRip 250 achieve an output of 405 and 632 kW respectively,” he explains. “The two shredding rotors run at different speeds of a maximum of 16 rpm. In this way, the fed material is separated at a remarkable throughput of 110 t/h, and more is made possible.”
Bosch Rexroth and LINDEMANN have been working together for many years. In addition to the Hägglunds radial piston motors, LINDEMANN also uses hydraulic pumps from Bosch Rexroth, in its own unit construction or for driving scrap shears and scrap presses etc.
