With a single-minded focus on keeping our customers satisfied, and finding just the right solution at the right time, Jan-Bernd Krämer has been appointed EMEA Head of Service.

He joins us having spent nine years at SMS Group, where he was latterly head of workshop planning and quality management. During this time he also gained international experience, working for two years in China as General Manager Service Division, based in Shanghai.

Jan, 33, began his career as an industrial mechanic, completing his apprenticeship, which he followed with further study in mechanical engineering. He has also completed a technical business economist course at the Institut fur Management.

Commenting on his new role says: “I’m really happy to be part of this fantastic team and help support them as they rise to the next level.”

An energetic early riser, (helped by his seven month old daughter) Jan prides himself on having an open mindset that explores new cultures and understand people. He is also not frightened of a challenge, and is a passionate endurance athlete, running Ultra Marathons in mountainous areas.

Jan is based at the Düsseldorf headquarters.
