Company CRP - Centro de Reciclagem de Palmela (Lissabon), after almost 10 months of the startup of the LINDEMANN ZZ 210x260 plant with 2500 HP main drive and official opening on May 17th 2022, extends their business as new official producer of shredded scrap, special material for foundries and steelmakers with high requirements in terms of ferrous scrap as well as metals end products.

“This new path has started under difficult and complicated circumstances”, as explains in conversations the manager of the installation Mr. Nuno Fernandes – son in law of the founder and owner of this family company, Mr. João Frade – “facing raw material price increase as well as energy prices, as the costs have been triplicated and the investment must be recovered”, although as he says this is a long term investment to be among the top industries of Portugal.

They are pleased with the investment and expect to keep on fighting for their family-owned company as well as for the human team and their families, being more and more competitive in our exciting Recycling business.
