Our General Manager East, India & Turkey, Keegan Vas, joined the panel discussion “Key drivers for ELV recycling in emerging markets and end-applications” at Metals Recycling Confex in Dubai.

“It was a great event focused on this region but also Africa. We met interesting recyclers from the African continent and recognized a growing commitment displayed towards sustainability and Green Steel. Some interesting topics were covered including battery recycling and proper handling of hazardous waste. Further interesting topics were covered on developments in the GCC countries mainly Oman and UAE with new and ongoing investments in yards for ship recycling.

Keegan presented our company and explained why it’s efficient to use modern Metal Shredder in the ELV recycling business: to downsize and separate in an efficient way.
